Luana at the travel agency was amazing!  She curated a fantastic itinerary for us all, with the hotels, private excursions and classes, train tickets, private drivers etc.  We couldn't have done this on our own, and even though Luana was in an entirely different time zone, she was accessible whenever we had a question, which was rare.  We felt so safe and secure knowing all the little details were taken care of for us.  All we had to do was enjoy the trip of a lifetime.  Which we certainly did!  Thanks Luana for helping make our travel dreams come true! 

The trip, organized by the travel agency, was amazing. In total, two couples a week on Italy’s Amalfi Coast and three weeks in Sicily. One couple continued on to the Calabria and Puglia regions for a total of 38 days. As one might imagine, a trip this long in so many regions was complex, especially because private drivers and local guides were arranged throughout We started working with the travel agency about seven months prior to the trip. Robert listened to our preferences and developed an amazing itinerary that included activities, such as mozzarella and cannoli making as well as archaeological explorations and city tours. Working with both Robert and the team was a delight. As one might expect, on a trip this long and complex there was the inevitable hiccup. The travel company's in-country support person was responsive and, ultimately, the few minor issues were resolved promptly. Robert came to the rescue one time when a hotel abruptly cancelled and the result was a better property with amazing sea views. Because the travel agency was so creative, thorough and reliable, all of us were able to enjoy the trip without worry or stress. 

The hotels and the tours were amazing. Each tour guide was super interesting and knowledgeable and pleasant. We were able to get into the Vatican early and see the Sistine Chapel without a crowd, which was just awesome. I went with my fourteen year old son and he loves history and we just had the best time. I will say that tourism is in full force in Italy, so paying extra for quiet and well run hotels was worth it. 

The travel agency did a wonderful job, helping us plan our itinerary in Italy. We visited Venice, Florence, the Tuscany region, Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast. The travel agency arranged for us to have private and small group tours, which allowed us to engage in conversation with the Italian people. Everyone was so kind and welcoming! The history was fascinating, as we visited museums and cathedrals in Venice and Florence. We enjoyed wonderful food at the winery, our pizza party, pasta making party, and at the goat cheese farm in Tuscany. We enjoyed wonderful grilled out food while overlooking the beautiful Tuscany region at a family owned, organic olive oil producing company.  In Sorrento, and on the Amalfi coast, we enjoyed the beautiful, coastal views, and the abundance of lemon trees. Our drivers were on time, with car seats when needed for our three grandchildren, ages 4, 2, and five months. The travel company was very attentive to our needs, and we are grateful for their help in making this a wonderful vacation!

The travel agency was excellent to work with.Alessandra was so talented in planning and organizing an amazing trip to Italy. She made recommendations that greatly added to the experience. She has a fantastic network of contacts that she used to create a most memorable experience.She and her team were a pleasure to work with. We would work with her again, without any hesitation, to plan another trip to Italy!

Awesome experience developing and confirming my itinerary with Alexia and the team from the travel agency.  The English speaking guides were professional, very kind, knowledgeable, very accommodating to my older parents. We would recommend each guide again to anyone. All transfers and train info went great.  When I had two questions, I was able to call and talk directly to our agent.  She quickly assisted me and felt very satisfied with such amazing service.  It gave me and my family great confidence in the whole process. Each of the chosen hotels were perfectly situated in the specific town/city. Each hotel was amazing from their staff, rooms, amenities and food (ie breakfast). All recommended restaurants were excellent.Finally, all details went smoothly including adding my children participating in part of the trip.  The planning and details were great.  

Valentina and her team did a great job in creating a memorable experience of our trip to Italy! Everything was thought of from our hotel accommodations to private transfers, private tours, and locations to visit. We will most definitely reach out to Zicasso Travel again for our next adventures to Europe.

We visited Italy in early July and it was the trip of a lifetime. We wanted to see as much as we could in two weeks and Michela planned a fantastic adventure for our family. We had so many fun excursions to experience: private guided tours in Venice, Florence and Rome; a truffle hunt and wine tasting in Tuscany; and a boat tour and pizza cooking course in the Amalfi Coast. Our accommodations were lovely, ranging from boutique hotels to former palazzos to a rustic farmhouse. Michela also arranged train tickets and private transfers, which made transit less stressful. One thing that was the most helpful was the travel itinerary Michela provided - it had an overall summary of our trip, a daily schedule on each page, and detailed notes about logistics. Michela also went above and beyond when we encountered some snafus during our trip. When we missed our connecting flight to Italy, she helped look for other available flights. When an excursion was canceled due to the weather, she tried to find us an alternative and started processing a refund right away. When there was a taxi strike in Rome, she advised us about different options to get to the train station. A lot of agents probably would not have answered their phone, but Michela was there for us and genuinely tried to help. She was always prompt and professional and we would highly recommend her to anyone.
