The travel agency did a really great job getting us around Kathmandu, Nepal and India. We were taken care from being picked up at the airport in Nepal and dropped right at security in Delhi.Jay was great to work with as we had a 44 day trip planned including a cruise. He worked out a great tour with the 9 days we allotted him. The agency was very attentive to our needs.We had our driver and new found friend on the India portion of the trip which included the Golden Triangle visiting Agra, Jaipur, and Delhi. He drove us from city to city and worked with each of the tour guides in every local. He made sure we were happy and had plenty of cold water and comforts. He was always there as we came out of any of the many stops and sites.All the tour guides were very knowledgable and we learned many new things as we explored these different cultures.Overall, everyone was great and did a fantastic job! Overall, the value of this trip is an exceptional value.

The trip was a once in a lifetime type of experience. Sherilyn and the travel agency did a tremendous job catering to our requests and needs. Sherilyn spent hours on the phone with me as we finalized the itinerary spanning Cape Town, Safari at the game reserve in Kruger, and ending on the beach on Benguerra Island in Mozambique. My wife and I saw all the things we wanted to, and more! As a couple of animal lovers the trip was truly a blessing. We were able to hangout with penguins outside Cape Town; we saw the big 5 plus wild dogs, warthogs and much more on safari; and we swam with sharks, devil rays, turtles and lots of exciting marine life during our dives in Mozambique. The service was top notch. I even left my keys at the resort while on safari, and Sherilyn was able to coordinate a swift retrieval so that I had them before I returned home. I could not recommend Sherilyn and this travel company enough!

The travel agency was professional and conscientious!  The trip they planned for us was one of the best planned trips we have ever taken. There were guides and representatives waiting at every stop. The hotels were as advertised and top notch. I’d highly recommend them for another trip.

In this pandemic time, using a good travel agent is worth it, and I was very grateful to have the help of the travel designer and his team. I had initially planned this trip in 2019 for 2020 travel, so it was a thrill to finally embark on this trip! Sri Lanka in particular is not a terribly easy place to visit during COVID, and I had a lot of difficulty submitting all the necessary paperwork to get my visa and health declaration set. My travel designer was incredibly responsive and helpful with all the paperwork, and I was able to have peace of mind that everything would be arranged and organized.

This travel company is a great travel partner and a great find for me during my December 2021 India visit. I received the utmost detail and care in tier travel planning including their signature “receive & drop off” at each location and expediting quick passage to each destination. I highly recommend them for personal and corporate visits. I will use them again and again for the level of service they displayed during my current trip.

Our travel specialist did a great job in working with us during a difficult time of traveling! COVID-19 certainly provided a lot of roadblocks and extra hassles, but they were able to help us go on a wonderful vacation in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. They did a good job of checking in with us and arranging our COVID-19 tests. The driver and the activities they picked were very good, fit our needs, and there was a great mix of different things in our itinerary that we liked. We also loved our accommodation options. Overall we had a great vacation!

Some things that could use improvement: 

Attention to detail- there were some things that were overlooked. For example, their travel contract clearly said we were responsible to get our own country tourist visas. We used another service to help us with this and when there were delays, our travel specialist seemed upset. When we reached out to them, they said that was a mistake and they were doing our visas and the hold-up was on us because we had used another agency to help us with the visas. Very frustrating communication. 

We had given them our passport and other information months before the trip. I am a US service member and was deployed and did not have access to email at that time- I usually am on top of details like my passport expiring, but this was an unusual circumstance. We then found out two weeks before our trip was set to leave that my passport expired 5.5 months after our trip and we almost were not able to take the vacation- we then had to rush to get a passport. This is why we pay a travel agent to have an eye for detail and the way in which our travel specialist responded to this issue was less than ideal. 

During the vacation, we had no scheduled lunches. Every day we had breakfast at the hotel, and dinner was planned at a hotel, but during the day we would sometimes wait a very long time before we were able to have our driver find a place for us to eat. Definitely something that should be considered for the next trip.

This was our  fourth trip with Zicasso. We have been blessed to have the travel agent for our Australia/New Zealand trip in 2013 as it turned out to be amazing and unforgettable. She handled all the flights from one place to another and the trip ran perfectly smooth. She communicated with me multiple times to make sure that she covered everything and then sent me a detailed itinerary with colored pictures. I had to ask for one with this trip. I started by saying these because our latest trip pales by comparison to our first trip with Zicasso. Here I had to take care of all the flights. And then there was this couple who wanted to join us on our trip and one of them dropped out, I had no idea that there was just a slight difference in the price if she took her own room. So she roomed with us the entire trip which included Valentines day. There was no dinner included but the one in the Newton Center while in Singapore and in the morning we were supposed to be met by our guide going to Sentosa, he did not show up. An alternate guide came an hour later who had the nerve to carry on an attitude. I also wished that our guide shared the same enthusiasm as I had doing the “Crazy Rich Asian”tour. Some of the places she just pointed to and one of the places I had to ask to be brought there. Although I appreciated the stay at our hotel in Singapore ( I asked for it) and the hotel in the Maldives. They were amazing places.

We utilized this travel company to provide guidance on our honeymoon to the Maldive and India and I have to say that my wife and I were absolutely blown away by both the trip itself and the service that the company provided. From the onset, this travel company provided a very detailed itinerary with numerous options at each location we wanted to visit and were very flexible in our ever changing requests. Once we got on the trip, everything was fairly mindless for us as every detail had been covered by the company and their excellent team. I would highly recommend this company (our trip planner if you plan on traveling to India) to help with any travel services you need. From airport pick ups to arranging first class tours, they were the best and made what could have been a hectic visit as relaxing as possible (in 3 weeks we went to the Maldives, Kochi, Delhi, Agra, Udaipur, Goa and Bengalaru).

The travel planner and the group at this travel company helped us with our trip to Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and The Maldives. They really listened to what we wanted out of the trip and found places that met our goals. Our travel planner and/or another planner were always available by email or phone. They always answered our questions quickly and thoroughly. We were especially grateful for their expertise and help, when two weeks before the trip a local airlines canceled one of our flights without notice. This meant we had to make some major changes to the end of the trip very quickly. Our planner worked with us throughout this whole process and put our minds at ease and provided some great alternatives.As for the trip itself, it exceeded all of our expectations. We have such a love and appreciation for this part of Africa. From the incredible wildlife, to Victoria Falls, and the starry night skies, it was indescribable.
